سری جدید از ساعت های نظامی محبوب گارمین تحت عنوان Garmin Tactix ۷ در آپریل ۲۰۲۲ در سه مدل معرفی شده. در واقع نسل جدید Garmin Tactix Delta هستند که با ورود ساعت های محبوب فنیکس ۷ معرفی شده اند. تفاوت بارز بین تکتیکس ها با ساعت های فنیکس گارمین طراحی این ساعت ها ست و البته قابلیت های نظامی یا Tactical و ورزشهای گروه جامپمستر. ساعت گارمین تکتیکس سون Garmin Tactix ۷ نسبت به مدل قبلی این ساعت یعنی garmin Tactix Delta Solar کامل تر و پیشرفته تر شده. با توجه به تغییرات اخیر در فنیکس و معرفی سری جدید این ساعت، سری جدید تکتیکس هم مورد انتظار بود. در سری جدید تکتیکس۷ هر سه مدل این ساعت دارای شیشه ضد خش از جنس sapphire یا همان یاقوت کبود هستند. ساعت تکتیکس سون مدل پرو ادیتشن دارای صفحه نمایش لمسی Touch Screen (که البته در صورت نیاز صفحه لمسی خاموش و دستگاه با دکمه ها به صورت کامل قابل کنترل می شود ) است. دارای شارژ خورشیدی Solar Charging است که در این مدل با توجه به بزرگتر شدن سلول های شارژ خورشیدی توان شارژ بیشتر شده و تقویت شده. ساعت Tactix ۷ Pro دارای فلش لایت یا چراغ قوه LED Flashlight به رنگ سفید و سبز است. سایز این ساعت ۵۱ میلیمتر است و دارای حافظه ۳۲ گیگابایتی برای ذخیره موسیقی و نقشه است. وزن این ساعت هم ۸۹ گرم است. در بسته بندی این ساعت ۲ عدد بند وجود دارد، یکی نایلونی و دیگری سیلیکونی که هردو مشکی هستند.
